The Pferd 43037 8" x 2" Non-Woven Polinox Unmounted Flap Wheel is a type of abrasive tool that is designed for use on metal surfaces. It features a corrugated construction, which allows it to conform to the shape of the workpiece and provide a consistent finish. The flap wheel is made of several wavily arranged strips of non-woven Polinox material, wound around a core. The wavy structure of the non-woven abrasive material permits seamless matte finishing of surfaces. Polinox 43037 Unmounted Flap Wheel consist of non-woven polyamide abrasive, into which abrasive grain is integrated. The wide range of hardness grades and different configurations allow a variety of surface structures and roughness levels to be achieved. It can be used for deburring, surface finishing, and polishing on a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and non-ferrous metals. The unmounted design allows for easy attachment to a power tool, such as an angle grinder, for efficient operation.
